Pacific Rim - New Trailer

Giant robots vs. alien monsters.  Need I say more?  This is a movie about aliens invading from a portal in the ocean and humans fighting back with remote controlled giant robots.  This...could...be...epic.  It WILL be awesome.  Why?  Refer to first sentence in this paragraph.  Also, I know I'm hearing GLaDOS from the Portal games in this trailer.  Makes me hungry for some cake.  1 question: why is called Pacific Rim?  Of all the things you could've named this movie...Pacific Rim?  Really?

Man of Steel - Official Trailer

Holy crap!!1!  This looks incredible.  From the trailer it looks like we're focusing very heavily on Clark Kent growing up and coming to terms with his powers and abilities.  Usually in movies and TV shows they gloss over this transition period.  Usually we see Clark as a kid and - boom - he's all grown up into Superman.  This movie trailer looks incredible.  I'm really excited to see this movie!!

Star Trek: Into Darkness - Teaser Trailer

Fascinating, that I was actually wondering about this movie just the other day and was wondering when the first trailer would surface.  Well, ask and ye shall receive.  As a nerd, I am oblique by sacred and federal law to say that I'm looking forward to this movie.  However,...this is a JJ Abrams movie.  Abrams his really good at selling crap.  He sells it really well, but let's face it.  All his stuff ends in an extremely disappointing way in which everyone feels they've been cheated.  That being said, I'm still looking forward to the new new Star Trek.

The Hobbit - New Trailer

One of the first series of books I ever read when I was about 7 was J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit."  And that of course lead into "The Lord of the Rings," to this day one of my favorite book series of all time.  Not the easiest of reads by any stretch, mind you.  I was super impressed with the LotR trilogy and am looking forward to part 1 of "The Hobbit."  Here's the newest trailer for the movie.

Jack the Giant Killer - Trailer

So here's a trailer from back in late December of last year.  Classic fairytale movie for the big screen.  But it hasn't been released yet.  The trailer says June 2012, but I can tell you that it didn't come out then, because if it had it would've been part of Film Crazy Adam's Top 11 Movies for this past summer.  Now I haven't heard when it's going to be released or why it's been pushed back.  The reason for the push back maybe the fact that there were 2 fairytale movies coming out around the same time ("Mirror Mirror" & "Snow White and the Huntsman").  But whatever the reason this was one that I was anticipating.  It's directed by Bryan Singer and I like most of his stuff (yes, I even like "Superman Returns," but not because it's a good movie.  I'm not that crazy).  But this looks like it could be good.  I'll let you know when I hear anything about the new release date.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters - Trailer

So, as if Abe Lincoln: Vamp Hunter wasn't good enough for you (and frankly it was a fun theater experience, but overall was lacking) we now have Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.  Up front, Film Crazy Adam is interested in this one.  Why?  It's reminiscent of Van Hellsing with Hugh Jackman, which Film Crazy Adam enjoys and it has Jeremy Renner in it.  This looks fun.  Fun and a bit ridiculous.  This looks like a good sequel to the classic fairy tale with a bit of action and some cool fight scenes.  There's usually at least one movie to look forward to in January, and assuming the world doesn't end in December, I'm gonna check this out.

Taken 2 - Trailer

I actually saw this trailer about a week or so ago and forgot to post about it.  It's the trailer for "Taken 2."  "Taken" was an awesome movie.  And it was good (remember how I said it didn't have to be both).  It was phenomenal, mind-blowning, and awesome.  It's one of those movies that didn't require a sequel...but, my God, this sequel looks awesome.  It looks to promise more of the first one.  This is definitely on my list.  But check out the first one and check out the trailer.

Red Dawn (2012) - Trailer

Was poking around on Yahoo! movies and saw this new trailer.  When I checked the trailer on youtube it's been up for about 21 hrs and already it's pretty even between the likes and dislikes.  And again I have to ask, why?  People dislike this movie trailer why?  Because it's a remake of a Patrick Swayze film?  This trailer looks pretty damn good and I'm looking forward to it.  Check it out.

Stars the mighty Thor, Chris Hemsworth.  Comes out November 21, 2012.
